Donald C. Pearcy, Loving Father of 2, Grandfather of 5 and Great Grandfather of 3 Children, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, May 9th, at I.U. North Hospital, in Carmel, IN. Don was born July 30th, 1926. Don was a proud Navy Veteran and graduated with honors, from Purdue University, in Electrical Engineering. Don and his loving wife Winnie, of 64 Years, have lived on the North side of Indianapolis, for the last 45 years. During his career, Don worked for several companies, in the electrical equipment business, before starting his own corporation and manufacturers representative business, in 1989.

Don enjoyed sailing, bridge, golf, and spending time with his family and many good friends. Don was preceded by his mother Louise and father Noah. He is survived by his wife – Winifred Haas Pearcy, brothers Bill and David, sister Marilyn, son – Thomas Pearcy (wife Carolyn), daughter – Janet Hawkinson (husband John), grandsons – Christopher (wife Jennifer), Paul (wife Molly), and Ryan Pearcy (wife Jennifer), granddaughters – Emily Padgett (husband Tyler), and Lindsay Baile (husband Jason), and great grandchildren – Noah, Sam and Eli Pearcy. Don was looking forward to the birth of his first great granddaughter this July.

A memorial service will be held in Don’s honor on Wednesday, May 14, at 3:00pm, at the Pleasant View Lutheran Church, 801 W. 73rd. Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260. Anyone wishing to memorialize Don’s good life or meet his extended family is welcome to attend
